MIO my MIO

It was raining yesterday, but it was light enough that we went out in the rain, took the train to go to the shopping mall, called the "fields". I wanted to get her a couple of new pairs of pants, as the ones we brought either shrunk or Mio grew in the last few weeks, that they were getting too tight for her. I also wanted to get her a raincoat. It's been raining a lot, so it would be very handy to have, and I have been noticing that a lot of kids (and adults) wear light raincoats even on sunny but cool days as "summer jackets". The temperature is pretty cool here even in the summer and it gets pretty chilly with the wind, so I totally understand why. I love the cute Danish design, too, so I wanted get her one as well. Result - yes on the pants but no on the raincoat.

So I did some online research on where I might find a cute raincoat for kids. I asked my new friend here and I got a few tips as well. While I was searching, I came across a Danish children's clothes brand called "MIO my MIO". Wow! I checked their collection, excited, but unfortunately their design is not exactly the "Danish design" I am after (or not exactly my taste to be frank), so that was a little disappointing, but maybe it's worthwhile to check it out. It would be a nice souvenir if I could find something, wouldn't it?

Today, it rained ALL DAY. I was willing to go out in the rain if it wasn't too bad, but it was just steady heavy rain non-stop, I just couldn't do it. Consequently, we were stuck in the apartment all day, and the day felt very long... Unfortunately, the weather forecast doesn't look so good in the coming weeks. I see a lot of rain marks. :( Better get that raincoat quick!
