Frederiksberg Flea Market

Yesterday, we went to a place called Frederiksberg. This area is an upscale residential area with nice tree-lined streets, but during the summer, there is a flea market every weekend at the plaza in front of the city hall. So we went to check it out. The flea market was like any other flea market, but I knew we were in Copenhagen because I saw quite a few people selling Royal Copenhagen tableware, and also I saw one guy selling a lot of beautifully designed silverware like Georg Jensen.

It was fun to browse, but Mio was really bored and getting impatient, we only stayed for a short while and headed to the Frederiksberg Park, which is also know for it's beautiful landscape. We had some lunch we had picked up at a bakery on our way, and let the kids play in the playground for a bit. Doesn't this dinosaur statue (?) the kids are playing with look like it's made of stone or metal? It's wood. It was shiny as it got polished over the years. Very nice.
