A day in the park

Jonathan took my camera to Norway, so all the pictures in this post was taken with my iphone. Sorry, not such a great quality...

Today, we got together with Mio's new Japanese/Danish friend and her mom. We took the metro to Lindevang Station to meet them, and we went to a little park near the station.

The park had a good size pool. It was warm but windy at times, and of course the water was very cold. But the kids went in anyway, and had a
great time. There were also two playgrounds within the park, so the kids went around from one playground to another and then back in the pool. Mio probably got in and out of her bathing suits about 3 times as each time she came out of the pool, she would say she's done, but after playing for a while, they wanted to go back into the water again.

Most kids were wearing bathing suits, but I saw quite a few naked ones in the pool as well. That's a big difference from pools in the US, where in most public pools you are required to put on "swimming diapers".

We spent the whole day at the park. We came home exhausted, but we all had a great time.

  1. That's so great that Mio already found a new friend to play with! Don't get too comfortable, we still want you to come back!
