In search for Cinderella...

It was kind of a gray day, but nice and comfortable. The kids were still tired from the weekend, and they both took a morning nap, which is very unusual. After we had lunch at home, we headed to the downtown area. Our main objective was to look for a "Cinderella" book for Mio, as Jonathan just got her a Cinderella puzzle a few days ago, and she wanted a story book to go with that.

We got off the bus, and walked towards the children's bookstore where I had spotted the other day. As soon as we started walking, Mio said she was hungry, so we stopped and got a danish (of course!) for snack and ate it at the main square near Stroget, the main shopping street. I had an apple for Yuto, and he just wandered off into the square with the apple in his hands... When we were ready to start walking again, Mio wanted to go to the bathroom, and there was a public bathroom right in the middle of the square. I dreaded going there, because it is really in the heart of the busiest shopping area, with so many tourists, and I could just imagine what kind of condition the bathroom could be in. But we went anyway, and I was wrong! You pay 2KR (about 40 cents or 30 Yen) and there is an attendant. The bathroom was so clean, it was probably cleaner than most restaurant bathrooms. I was very impressed.
As for the book, we never found it, as the children's bookstore was a lovely little store, but the English book section was rather small. We'll keep looking.
